CODE OF CONDUCT FOR BUSINESS PARTNERS
This Code of Conduct sets forth the expectations and standards of behavior for all business partners operating on the Celebrain platform. By selling on Celebrain, you agree to comply with the following guidelines, designed to ensure a fair, safe, and reliable environment for buyers and sellers, and to maintain the integrity of our community and platform.

1. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
-
Applicable Laws: You are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to your products and commercial activities, including but not limited to consumer protection laws, data privacy regulations (such as GDPR or CCPA, where applicable), intellectual property rights, product safety standards, and tax regulations.
-
Celebrain Policies: You must adhere to all policies, terms of service, and guidelines established by Celebrain, which may be updated periodically. This includes policies on prohibited products, listings, shipping, returns and refunds, and communications.
-
Taxes: You are solely responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting all applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.) related to your sales on Celebrain.
2. Accuracy and Transparency in Listings
-
Truthful Descriptions: All information provided in your listings (product descriptions, images, prices, conditions, shipping times) must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. Keyword manipulation or inclusion of irrelevant information to artificially boost visibility is not allowed.
-
Authentic Images: Use only high-quality images that accurately represent the actual product. Do not use misleading or stock images that do not correspond exactly to the item being sold. If you sell handmade or unique items, the photos must be of the specific item the buyer will receive.
-
Fair Pricing: Set competitive and fair prices. Do not engage in abusive or deceptive pricing practices.
-
Accurate Inventory: Keep your inventory updated to avoid selling out-of-stock products, which can lead to cancellations and customer dissatisfaction.
3. Product Quality and Customer Service
-
Product Quality: Products sold must be of the promised quality, safe for their intended use, and, if new, in perfect condition. If you sell used or refurbished items, they must be described accurately and transparently.
-
Respectful Communication: Interact with buyers and Celebrain staff in a professional, respectful, and timely manner. Respond to customer inquiries within a reasonable timeframe (generally within 24–48 hours).
-
Problem Resolution: In case of issues (defective products, lost shipments, etc.), work actively with the buyer to find a timely and satisfactory solution, in accordance with Celebrain’s return and refund policies.
-
Shipping and Fulfillment: Ship orders on time, use reliable shipping methods, and provide accurate tracking information when applicable. Package products appropriately to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
-
Feedback and Reviews: Do not manipulate feedback or review systems. Do not solicit positive reviews in exchange for incentives, nor attempt to bribe or pressure buyers to modify negative reviews. Address negative feedback constructively and professionally.
4. Fair and Competitive Conduct
-
Fair Play: Do not engage in unfair tactics to gain a competitive advantage. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Sales Manipulation: Purchasing your own products or asking others to do so to artificially inflate sales or rankings.
-
Espionage or Sabotage: Attempting to dishonestly obtain business information from other Celebrain vendors or sabotaging their listings or reputation.
-
Impersonation: Pretending to be another seller or brand.
-
Misleading Off-Platform Advertising: Using external channels to direct deceptive traffic to your Celebrain listings or to defame other sellers.
-
-
Respect for Intellectual Property: Do not infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights. Sell only products you have the legal right to sell or those that are your own original creations.
-
No Direct Off-Platform Contact: Do not attempt to divert transactions or communications with buyers outside the Celebrain platform. All communications and transactions related to sales initiated on Celebrain must remain within the platform.
5. Privacy and Data Security
-
Protection of Customer Data: Handle all buyer personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails) with the utmost confidentiality and security. Use this information solely for the purpose of completing the transaction and never share, sell, or use it for unauthorized marketing purposes.
-
Account Security: Maintain the security of your Celebrain seller account. Do not share your login credentials and remain vigilant against phishing attempts or fraud.
6. Consequences of Non-Compliance
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following actions, at Celebrain’s discretion:
-
Formal warnings
-
Restriction of selling privileges
-
Temporary account suspension
-
Permanent termination of the seller account
